Terms & Conditions — Fascia Maneuvers Workshops

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and participation in workshops and related events offered under Fascia Maneuvers by Sietske, operated by Sietske van den Oord (“Sietske”, “we”, “us” or “the Organiser”).

By purchasing a workshop ticket through this website or an associated booking/payment page, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms &

Conditions.

1. About Fascia Maneuvers
Fascia Maneuvers is a body-based practice using guided movements, pressure, breathing and body awareness to support relaxation, mobility, body awareness and a greater sense of physical and emotional balance.
Workshops may include guided fascia maneuvers, breathing and awareness practices, gentle movement, meditation, partner maneuvers, self-practice techniques and general guidance relating to hydration, mineralisation and recovery.
The exact content of each workshop may vary depending on the event, location, group and theme.

Current workshop offerings may include, for example:
  • Basic Fascia Maneuvers;
  • exercises focused on areas such as the lower back, hips, shoulders and head;
  • techniques for releasing physical tension and stress;
  • partner Fascia Maneuvers;
  • guidance for continuing selected practices at home;
  • personal recommendations;
  • body-awareness and relaxation practices; and
  • educational information relating to fascia, movement, hydration and recovery.
The specific programme, duration, location and inclusions applicable to your booking are those stated on the relevant workshop page or booking confirmation.

2. About the Organiser
Fascia Maneuvers by Sietske is led by Sietske van den Oord, a certified Human Garage Fascial Maneuvers coach with a background in Shiatsu massage and Dru yoga.
Sietske states that her work is based on the knowledge and experience gained through her training and on holistic practices developed through her professional experience.
The website describes Fascia Maneuvers as a gentle, non-invasive body-based practice intended to work with the body rather than against it.

3. Workshop Tickets and Booking
Workshop places are limited and are confirmed only after successful completion of the booking and payment process.
The price of the workshop is the price displayed on the relevant workshop or checkout page at the time of purchase, unless otherwise expressly stated.
For example, the current listing for The Ageless Body workshop states a price of €160 per person, at de Zendo Nijmegen, from 10:00 to 17:00. The applicable price and event details may change for future workshops.
A booking confirmation or payment confirmation serves as evidence of your purchase.
Please check your confirmation carefully and contact Sietske promptly if any information appears to be incorrect.

4. Payment
Payment must be completed through the payment method made available during the booking process.
A booking is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully received or the payment provider has confirmed the transaction.
Any payment processing or transaction fees that are clearly disclosed during checkout will form part of the purchase terms.

5. Cancellation by the Customer — Non-Refundable Workshop Tickets
Workshop tickets purchased online for a specific workshop date are non-refundable if the customer subsequently decides not to attend or is unable to attend.
This includes, for example:
  • illness or feeling unwell;
  • changes to personal plans;
  • travel difficulties;
  • work commitments;
  • transport problems;
  • accommodation problems;
  • forgetting the event;
  • choosing not to attend; or
  • any other personal circumstance preventing attendance.
Where applicable, the legal right of withdrawal that normally applies to certain online purchases does not apply to leisure activities or events provided on a specific date or during a specified period. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
By purchasing a dated workshop ticket, you acknowledge that the Organiser reserves a place for you and commits capacity and resources to the event.

6. If You Cannot Attend
Although workshop tickets are non-refundable, Sietske understands that circumstances can change.
If you realise that you cannot attend, please contact Sietske as soon as possible using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation or on the website.
Depending on availability and circumstances, Sietske may, at her discretion, offer one of the following options:
6.1 Rescheduling
You may be offered the possibility of transferring your booking to another Fascia Maneuvers workshop or suitable event.
Rescheduling is subject to:
  • availability;
  • the suitability of the alternative workshop;
  • the timing of your request; and
  • any difference in price between the original and replacement event.
Rescheduling is not guaranteed and remains subject to Sietske's confirmation.
6.2 Online Fascia Maneuvers Membership
If rescheduling is not reasonably possible, Sietske may, as a goodwill alternative, offer you access to the Fascia Maneuvers online membership for a defined period.
The value of the membership offered may be equivalent to the amount originally paid for the workshop ticket.
The exact membership period will depend on the then-current membership pricing and will be communicated to you before access is granted.
The online membership alternative is not an automatic refund or contractual right. It is a goodwill solution intended to allow you to continue your Fascia Maneuvers journey despite being unable to attend the physical workshop.
If the membership value is lower than the original ticket price, Sietske is not required to pay the difference unless separately agreed in writing.
If the membership value is higher than the original ticket price, no additional payment will normally be required for the goodwill membership period offered.

7. Transfer of a Ticket to Another Person
Unless expressly agreed otherwise by Sietske, workshop tickets are personal to the person named in the booking and may not automatically be transferred or resold to another person.
If you wish to transfer your place to another participant, please contact Sietske in advance.
Any transfer is subject to Sietske's approval and may require the new participant to provide relevant information before attending.

8. Cancellation or Changes by the Organiser
Sietske reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel a workshop where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include, but are not limited to:
  • illness or incapacity of the facilitator;
  • insufficient registrations;
  • venue problems;
  • safety concerns;
  • unforeseen circumstances;
  • force majeure; or
  • circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organiser.
If Sietske cancels a workshop, participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Where required by applicable law, participants will be entitled to a refund or another legally appropriate remedy.
Where appropriate, Sietske may instead offer an alternative workshop date or another solution. Any alternative will not remove mandatory consumer rights where those rights apply.

9. Changes to the Workshop Programme
The Organiser may make reasonable changes to the workshop programme, exercises, schedule, facilitator arrangements or practical details where necessary.
Such changes will not normally entitle the participant to a refund where the essential nature of the workshop remains substantially unchanged.
If a workshop is substantially changed or cancelled, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Health, Safety and Personal Responsibility
Fascia Maneuvers workshops involve physical movement, body awareness, pressure techniques and, depending on the workshop, partner exercises.
Although the practice is designed to be gentle and non-invasive, every person's body and health circumstances are different.
You participate voluntarily and remain responsible for listening to your own body.
You should:
  • work within your own comfortable limits;
  • communicate any discomfort to Sietske;
  • stop an exercise if it causes pain, dizziness, distress or other concerning symptoms;
  • follow the instructions provided during the workshop; and
  • inform Sietske before the workshop of any relevant physical limitations or circumstances that may affect your ability to participate safely.
You should seek appropriate medical advice before participating if you have concerns about whether physical movement or bodywork is suitable for you.

11. Not a Medical Treatment or Medical Advice
Fascia Maneuvers workshops are educational and wellness-oriented experiences.
They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, physiotherapy, psychological treatment or other professional healthcare services.
Information provided during a workshop should not be understood as a diagnosis or as a guarantee of treatment of any medical condition.
Do not discontinue prescribed medication or professional medical treatment based on information received during a Fascia Maneuvers workshop.
If you have a medical condition, injury, persistent pain or other health concern, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

12. No Guarantee of Individual Results
Fascia Maneuvers may support relaxation, body awareness, mobility and a sense of wellbeing, but individual experiences and results vary.
No particular result is guaranteed.
References on the website to improvements in pain, flexibility, posture, relaxation, energy, emotional wellbeing or other experiences describe the intended or reported benefits of the practice and do not constitute a promise that every participant will experience the same results.
Your results may depend on many factors, including your physical condition, participation, consistency, lifestyle and individual circumstances.

13. Partner Maneuvers and Physical Contact
Certain workshops may include partner exercises or techniques involving physical contact.
Participation in partner exercises is voluntary.
Participants should communicate clearly with their partner and with Sietske about comfort levels, boundaries and any physical limitations.
You may decline a partner exercise or request an alternative practice where reasonably possible.
No participant should apply a maneuver to another person without appropriate instruction and consent.

14. Respectful Behaviour
Participants are expected to contribute to a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
The Organiser may ask a participant to leave the workshop without refund if their behaviour:
  • threatens the safety or wellbeing of another participant;
  • is abusive, discriminatory, threatening or disruptive;
  • involves inappropriate physical contact;
  • significantly interferes with the workshop; or
  • otherwise creates an unsafe environment.
This does not affect any mandatory legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Workshop Materials and Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, teaching methods, written materials, recordings, videos, illustrations, exercises, presentations, branding, website content and other materials supplied by Sietske remain the intellectual property of their respective owner unless otherwise stated.
Materials provided to participants are intended for their personal educational and wellbeing use.
Unless expressly authorised in writing, participants may not:
  • reproduce workshop materials commercially;
  • sell or redistribute them;
  • publish them online;
  • present the workshop content as their own;
  • record the workshop for commercial purposes;
  • use the materials to create competing commercial courses or workshops; or
  • reproduce substantial portions of the teaching materials for commercial training.
Where the workshop specifically teaches techniques that participants can use at home or with loved ones, such use is permitted within the scope explained during the workshop.

16. Photography, Video and Recording
The Organiser may occasionally take photographs or video recordings during workshops for documentation or promotional purposes.
Where identifiable participants are intended to be used in promotional materials, the Organiser will obtain the appropriate consent where required by applicable law.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional photography or video, please inform Sietske before the workshop.
Participants may not record, photograph or distribute other participants without their consent.

17. Personal Information
Personal information provided during booking or communication will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
Personal information may be used for purposes including:
  • processing your booking;
  • communicating with you about the workshop;
  • providing customer support;
  • managing attendance;
  • processing payments;
  • providing access to an online membership where offered; and
  • fulfilling legal and administrative obligations.
For full information about how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected, please refer to the website's Privacy Policy.

18. Online Membership Offered as an Alternative
Where an online membership is offered as an alternative to attending a physical workshop, the membership is subject to the terms applicable to that online service.
The access period granted as a goodwill alternative will be communicated to the participant.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the goodwill membership:
  • is limited to the period communicated by Sietske;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • cannot be transferred to another person;
  • does not automatically renew into a paid subscription; and
  • does not create an entitlement to a refund of the original workshop ticket.
19. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sietske and the Organiser are not responsible for loss, injury, damage or expense resulting from a participant's failure to follow reasonable instructions, disclose relevant limitations, or participate within their own physical limits.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or other circumstances for which liability must remain with the Organiser under applicable law.

20. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings brought to the workshop.
The Organiser is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Please avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to the workshop.

21. Arrival and Participation
Participants should arrive at the location at the time stated in their booking information.
Late arrival may result in reduced participation where entering the session would disrupt the practice or affect the safety and experience of the group.
No refund or compensation is automatically due because a participant arrives late or leaves the workshop early.

22. Workshop Location and Practical Information
The location, date, time, duration and specific programme of each workshop will be communicated on the relevant workshop page and/or booking confirmation.
For the currently advertised The Ageless Body workshop, the website states:
Location: de Zendo Nijmegen
Time: 10:00–17:00
Price: €160 per person
The workshop includes Basic Fascia Maneuvers, guidance on hydration and mineralisation of fascia, partner maneuvers, techniques for home practice and personal recommendations.
Workshop details may differ for future events.

23. Force Majeure
The Organiser will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a workshop where this results from circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, public emergencies, venue closure, transport disruption, serious illness, or other circumstances that make holding the workshop impossible or unsafe.
Where a workshop cannot take place because of such circumstances, Sietske will communicate the available options as soon as reasonably possible, subject to applicable law.

24. Complaints and Customer Support
If you have a question, concern or complaint regarding a workshop, please contact Sietske directly as soon as possible.
We encourage participants to raise concerns promptly so that a practical solution can be considered.

Please include:
  • your name;
  • workshop name;
  • workshop date;
  • booking/payment reference, if available; and
  • a description of the issue.

25. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to deprive consumers of rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Where mandatory consumer protection legislation applies, those statutory rights will prevail over any conflicting provision of these Terms & Conditions.
For workshops taking place in the European Union, consumer rules concerning online purchases, withdrawal rights and event services may depend on the specific nature and date of the service and the applicable national legislation. EU rules specifically recognise an exception to the standard withdrawal period for leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws applicable to the Organiser and the relevant workshop, subject always to mandatory consumer protection legislation applicable to the participant.
Where legally permitted, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the Organiser is established.
Consumers may also have access to mandatory alternative dispute resolution or other consumer protection mechanisms available under applicable law.
IMPORTANT: The Organiser should insert the correct country, business address and legal entity information before publishing this section.
27. Changes to These Terms & Conditions
The Organiser may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the services, workshops, legal requirements or business practices.
The version applicable to your purchase is the version presented to you at the time of booking, unless a later change is required by law or otherwise applies to your ongoing relationship with the Organiser.

28. Acceptance of These Terms
By purchasing a Fascia Maneuvers workshop ticket, you confirm that:
  • you have had the opportunity to read these Terms & Conditions;
  • you understand that a workshop ticket for a specific date is non-refundable in cases where you are unable or choose not to attend, subject to your mandatory legal rights;
